A special and strong bond

With our workers

People who just like our family spend their lives dedicating to San Ramón. Fathers, mothers, sons, brothers and sisters are the heart of this business. The bond created goes beyond work, its just like a big family aiming at the same objectives. Their needs and achievements are our needs and achievements. Furthermore, as part of a benefit, land is provided for some people to work it as their own and harvest their own products.

Care for

Nature

We believe on respect for nature as a working method; we are convinced that it has a direct impact not just on the environment, but on the quality of our products.

Approximately the equivalent of the 50% of the coffee growing area are protected forest, rivers and waterholes. This allows the generations of micro-climates that are critical for a good harvest, furthermore. Coffee plantations are grown using natural shades, and the result is:

A cup in which you can taste a bit of Nicaragua.

Plantation Renewal

As any other living being, as plants get older it may have a negative effect on production and are more susceptible to diseases. Therefore, is paramount for Finca San Ramón to have a continuous plant renewal system. About 200 thousand coffee plants are sown every year along with 5 to 7 thousand shading trees.

At Finca San Ramón we understand the importance of the different players in the Coffee Industry, and we know the importance that represents quality, consistency over time, transparency, and commitment when it comes to doing business.

That is why we try to conduct our business within the frame of the afore mentioned traits in conjunction with our family values in order to strengthen the relationship with our clients
